According to the experimental results, the JF2N series can greatly reduce the subsequent thickener dosage.

It also exhibits excellent anti-sagging performance even with a very short flow time measured by a #3 cup at the application viscosity.

In this experiment, a conventional talc and a medium-to-high-end talc were used for comparison.

These two talc products have slightly lower oil absorption and lower initial viscosity during paint preparation,

resulting in higher thickener consumption in subsequent steps.

Moreover, under the same water addition, their #3 cup flow time is longer during application.

Excessive thickener addition tends to cause post-thickening.

Therefore, the JF2N series talc is more suitable for this system.

Heat Storage Stability Test

Polyurethane Slurry Formulation:

• After storage at room temperature for 3 days, the conventional talc showed severe hard settling, while the two JF2N talc samples exhibited almost no change.

• After heat storage for 6 days in the polyurethane formulation, as shown in the figure:

Experimental Conclusion:

1. In terms of the thickening effect in the pre-slurry, the JF2N control group is significantly superior to conventional talc.

2. In terms of anti-sagging performance, the JF2N control group is significantly better than conventional talc, with a very obvious effect.

4.In terms of corrosion resistance, JF2N talc outperforms the blank group in water resistance, salt spray resistance tests, and alkali resistance tests in the epoxy formulation.

5. In the polyurethane formulation, after storage at room temperature, conventional talc shows severe hard settling, while JF2N only has soft settling with no effect after stirring

Relying on precise parameter design and the inherent properties of microcrystalline talc powder, Jetfine 2N demonstrates multiple performance advantages in application, covering performance improvement, formula optimization, production compatibility and other aspects. It has become a truly versatile filler, especially in water-based color paste systems, where it can better exert its exclusive matching advantages.

(Optical & hiding optimization, titanium dioxide efficiency & cost reduction)

Thanks to its high whiteness, Jetfine 2N can effectively assist the dispersion of titanium dioxide, reduce agglomeration of TiO₂ particles, and increase the spacing between TiO₂ particles. This significantly improves the dry film hiding power and color strength of the color paste, achieving enhanced efficiency of titanium dioxide.

In practical formulations, Jetfine 2N can replace approximately 10% of titanium dioxide without compromising the core performance of the system. While maintaining hiding and coloring effects, it effectively reduces raw material costs, helping enterprises lower R&D and production expenses.

(Improve physical properties of the system, enhance durability and stability.)

Microcrystalline lamellar structure forms a compact network in coatings, delivering improved hardness, scratch & wear resistance, and enhanced water, salt spray and chemical resistance.

In water-based color pastes, Jetfine 2N improves storage stability, reduces pigment settling and delamination, and delivers better dispersion and color development.

It also provides excellent anti-sagging properties for coating systems, optimizes low-shear viscosity, and improves application performance, resulting in a smoother film formation.

In addition, it can moderately adjust the viscosity of the system, balancing fluidity and stability to meet various construction and formulation requirements.

(High compatibility with full systems, outstanding adaptability for water-based color pastes.)

Jetfine 2N exhibits excellent chemical inertness. It does not react with resins, additives, pigments or other components in water-based or oil-based systems. It is compatible with a wide range of systems including water-based color pastes, water-based/oil-based coatings, inks and adhesives.

It performs particularly outstandingly in water-based color paste systems. With its pure and impurity-free composition, Jetfine 2N does not react with water-based resins or dispersants, nor does it introduce heterochromatic ions, thus excellently maintaining the color purity of the color paste.

Furthermore, its ultra-fine particle size ensures easy dispersion, allowing it to bind closely with pigment particles in the color paste and improving the overall fineness of the paste.

(Excellent processing performance, suitable for industrial production.)

With a Mohs hardness of only 1, Jetfine 2N is easy to grind and disperse. It can effectively shorten grinding time, reduce dispersion energy consumption, and improve production efficiency during the manufacturing of water-based color pastes and coatings.

Meanwhile, its stable physical and chemical properties make the product resistant to caking and deterioration during storage and production, ensuring continuous production and consistent formulation performance.
